ROUTE INFORMATION

Route Overview

The entire route will be on district and farm roads with breathtaking scenery and non-technical riding conditions. The second half of the race is more challenging with uphill drags and higher altitude. Please note the route is not marked, and roads will not be closed off for the event. Riders need to be cautious of potential traffic at all times and make 100% sure it is safe to go before crossing roads. Also note that a considerable part of the race will be ridden after dark. A set of lights is compulsory. All GPS route files and checkpoint information will be provided before the start of the race.

Cullinan Ultra-Gravel will take riders and their support crews over 260km of unmarked district roads.

The race is known for its gruelling terrain, with an elevation gain of 3200m over the course of 24 hours.

The race features several waterpoints along the route, where cyclists can refuel and hydrate before continuing on their journey.
